A few things clients often want to know before booking a consultation.
Yes. All sessions are conducted virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, so you can meet from anywhere in Texas — home, work, or wherever feels most comfortable and private.
Our first session is focused on getting to know each other. We'll talk through what's bringing you to therapy, a bit of your history, and what you hope to get out of our work together. There's no pressure to share more than feels right for you.
I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, and Aetna. I also accept private pay. I'm happy to provide a superbill so you can seek reimbursement through your insurance's out-of-network benefits.
If you're feeling anxious, stressed, stuck, or simply want dedicated space to process what's going on in your life, therapy can help. You don't need a crisis to justify starting — a free consultation is a low-pressure way to explore whether now feels like the right time.
There is no fixed timeline — some clients come for a few months around a specific transition, while others build a longer-term relationship. We regularly check in together on progress and goals so the length of care always reflects your needs.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum and trust, then shift to biweekly or monthly as things feel steadier. We adjust the cadence together as your needs change.
Research consistently shows virtual therapy can be just as effective as in-person care for anxiety, stress, self-esteem, and relationship concerns — with the added benefit of meeting from a space where you already feel safe.
Because sessions are entirely virtual, I work with clients anywhere within the state of Texas, from Austin and Dallas to Houston, San Antonio, and smaller communities in between.
