Therapy with McKenna Ziats

About

Hi, I'm McKenna.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas, offering virtual therapy to women and adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, self-esteem struggles, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique experiences — not a one-size-fits-all script. My hope is that our work together feels less like a clinical appointment and more like a steady, honest space to grow.

My story

I became a therapist because I know what it feels like to carry more than you can name — and to finally have someone help you put words to it. Over the years, I've had the privilege of sitting with women and adults through some of their hardest and most transformative moments: anxiety that won't quiet down, burnout that's crept in slowly, relationships that need honesty, and transitions that ask you to become someone new.

What I've learned is that healing rarely happens through advice — it happens through being truly seen, session after session, in a space without judgment. That's the space I try to create for every person I work with.

My Approach

How I show up in the room

Warm

Sessions feel like a conversation with someone genuinely in your corner — never clinical or cold.

Person-Centered

You're the expert on your own life. My role is to listen, reflect, and help you find your own way forward.

Collaborative

Treatment is built with you, not for you — we shape goals and pacing together, session by session.

Non-Judgmental

Whatever you bring into the room is welcome here, without shame and without a script.
